Fiery Furnaces

Ok, their EP came out like two years ago, but I guess better late than never. I just found these guys now, but I feel like I’ve heard them a million times before. Not saying it’s bad, it’s actually really good, just saying any Mates of State song or Tilly and the Wall track will have lots of similarities. Still good though.

  1. wow, i have seen a more far off comparison than the fiery furnaces to mates of state and tilly and the wall. both of the latter emphasize a lighthearted poppish sound, while the fiery furnaces…are hard to pin down in any fashion.

    did you even listen to songs like duffer st george, straight street, birdie brain…pretty much anything besides those songs?
